Sts. Mary Magdalane and Markella Greek Orthodox Church is a small parish that has grown over the years thanks to all of the hard work of its stewards and loving support of the outside community. Like in all other big events, there are many factors we have to consider in order to put this fun filled weekend together. The first, and most important, is the ability to generate outside funding to cover some of our big expenses. By becoming an event sponsor, you can help our parish secure these funds and to accomplish our goals. Please take the time to read the letter by clicking on the link below. We would appreciate any help and look forward to serving you on that big weekend.
We are excited to host our 2025 Annual Greek Festival! We anticipate up to 4,000 guests to visit our property throughout the weekend. If you are interested in becoming a vendor for the event, just click on the link below. We look forward to having you at this year's Greek Festival.
All the way from Tarpon Springs, FL! We are excited that The Ellada Band, America's Favorite Greek Band, will be returning to our festival to play their incredible music. In addition to live music, we will be joined by several folk-dance groups of other Orthodox churches to provide traditional dance entertainment.
Our delicious Greek food has become the talk of the town and we invite you to see for yourselves how amazing it really is! We have all the traditional Greek staples, like gyro, souvlaki, spanakopita, dolmades and so much more!
Our Greek Festival has a Full Bar that prepares many of the classic cocktails and serves imported Greek beer, wine, and liquor. Ask about our delicious Greek specialty drinks mixed to perfection.
HAPPY HOUR: HALF OFF ALL DRINKS FROM 5-7 p.m.
Yes, baklava is on the top of the list, but have you tried any of the other amazing desserts we offer?
Ga-lak-to-bou-ri-ko is a tongue twister, but your taste buds will thank you! We have many others as well!
The Sweet Greek Grill is back this year to make us their famous Loukoumades (Fried Dough Balls). Try this sweet taste of heaven! Click on the link below to see the Master Chef of this delicacy.
Just as our community supports us, we welcome local vendors to share their passion and products at our festival.
We're all one big and fat Greek family, so bring the kids and let them enjoy the various crafts and games at the festival too!
Father Elefterios Plevrakis will be conducting church tours throughout the weekend. Click on the link below for tour schedule. No food or drinks are allowed upstairs or entering into the Atar of the sanctuary.
We are truly grateful for our Festival Sponsors! We are a small church community and continue to be blessed with people and businesses who support our efforts. God bless you!
